A proud Vietnam veteran, Gordon Logan served as an Aircraft Commander in the U.S. Air Force (1969-1976). He then went on to work as a financial planning and control consultant with Price Waterhouse & Co. in Houston, Texas (1976-1980). He’s a graduate of MIT (BS, ’68) and The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania (MBA with Honors, '76).

Before founding Sport Clips in 1995, he owned and operated salons throughout Texas with his wife Bettye. Logan has also served in leadership positions within the International SalonSpa Business Network, including a term as president. He still serves on the Board of Directors.

His commitment to fellow veterans is demonstrated in many ways. Chief among them are his position on the VFW Foundation Board and Sport Clips’ commitment to supporting service members and veterans through donations to VFW’s Operation Uplink. To date, Logan’s franchise has donated more than $1.3 million to the program, making Sport Clips the largest Free Call Day sponsor in the history of the program.

VFW Adjutant General Allen “Gunner” Kent is proud of the work Logan and Sport Clips have done on behalf of America’s defenders.

“Mr. Logan is a man of his word, a man with solid values that infuse his business and the way he conducts himself. The VFW is proud to consider him a friend and grateful for his remarkable commitment to his comrades of every generation,” Kent said.
